Read time estimation: 3 minutes. Timothee Chalamet

When you hear the name Timothee Chalamet, the first thing that might come to mind is “heartthrob.” The 23-year-old actor has been taking Hollywood by storm with his good looks and talent.

Born and raised in New York City, Chalamet got his start in acting at a young age. He made his film debut in 2012’s “Men in Black 3” and has since appeared in several other movies, including “Interstellar,” “Edge of Seventeen” and “Lady Bird.” But it was his role as the troubled teenager Elio in the 2017 film “Call Me by Your Name” that really put him on the map.

Chalamet’s performance in “Call Me by Your Name” earned him critical acclaim and a host of award nominations, including an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. He lost the Oscar to Gary Oldman, but Chalamet’s career is just getting started. He has already been tapped to star in several upcoming movies, including the highly anticipated “Beautiful Boy” with Steve Carell.

There’s no doubt that Chalamet is a talented actor, but it’s his good looks that have made him a bonafide Hollywood heartthrob. He was recently named one of Time magazine’s “Most Influential People of 2018” and People magazine’s “Sexiest Actor Alive.”

It’s no wonder Chalamet has such a large and devoted following. His fans are known for their obsessive behavior, and they have even given him a nickname: “Timmy T.” They swarm social media whenever he posts anything, and they eagerly await any new movie or project he announces.

Chalamet himself has said that he’s “flattered” by the attention but tries to keep it all in perspective. “I’m very lucky and very grateful,” he told W magazine. “But at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter.”

He may be downplaying it, but there’s no doubt that Chalamet is one of Hollywood’s hottest young stars. He’s talented, good-looking and, at just 23 years old, he has a long career ahead of him. We can’t wait to see what he does next.
