Jiří Procházka will make his UFC return at UFC 295 after a year-long hiatus, and he's looking to make a splash.

The Czech Republic native last fought in the UFC in October 2019, when he picked up a first-round TKO win over Vinicius Moreira. That victory was part of a three-fight winning streak that saw Procházka rack up wins over Latifi and former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.

Now, after a year away from the sport, Procházka is ready to return and make a run at the UFC light heavyweight title. And he's got his sights set on a showdown with current champion Jon Jones.

"I want to fight Jon Jones," Procházka said in an interview with MMA Junkie. "I believe I can beat him. I know I can beat him. I will beat him. And then I will be the UFC light heavyweight champion."

Procházka is currently ranked No. 7 in the UFC's light heavyweight division, and a win over Jones would solidify his status as one of the best fighters in the world.

But Jones isn't the only fighter on Procházka's radar. He's also interested in a rematch with former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum, who he defeated via TKO in his last fight.

"I want to fight Fabricio Werdum," Procházka said. "He is a great fighter. He is a former UFC heavyweight champion. I want to show the world that I can beat him again."

Procházka is a dangerous fighter with a lot of potential. He's got the skills to compete with the best in the world, and he's got the drive to become the UFC light heavyweight champion. Keep an eye on Jiří Procházka at UFC 295.
