UFC Fight Night: Arman Tsarukyan vs. Beneil Dariush went down last Saturday night (May 8, 2021) and it was a great showing for both fighters.

Tsarukyan made his UFC debut in emphatic fashion, defeating Dariush by unanimous decision. The victory was a big one for the Russian fighter, who had been on the shelf for nearly two years.

Tsarukyan looked sharp from the outset, landing big shots on Dariush and mixing in some nice takedowns. Dariush did a good job of weathering the early storm and making it to the later rounds, but Tsarukyan was just too much.

All three judges scored the bout 29-28 in favor of Tsarukyan, who moves to 13-2 with the win. Dariush, meanwhile, falls to 17-4-1.

After the bout, Tsarukyan called out Conor McGregor, saying he would "smash" the Irishman. McGregor has yet to respond, but you have to imagine that he's not too happy with Tsarukyan's comments.
