The Battle of the Lone Star State: Astros vs Rangers

The Lone Star State is home to two of the best baseball teams in the American League, the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers. These two teams have been battling it out for supremacy in the AL West for years, and the competition between them is always fierce.

The Astros have been the dominant team in the division for the past few years, winning the AL West title in 2015, 2017, and 2018. They also made it to the World Series in 2017, losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven games.

The Rangers, on the other hand, haven’t had much success lately, finishing last in the AL West in 2016 and 2017. They did make a brief comeback in 2018, but ultimately fell short of the Astros once again.

This year, both teams are off to a hot start, with the Astros holding a slim lead over the Rangers in the standings. The competition between these two teams is always intense, and there’s no doubt that they’ll be battling it out for the AL West title once again in 2019.
