Inter Miami is a professional soccer franchise based in Miami, Florida. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), as a member of the Eastern Conference. They play their home games at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. The team's primary colors are black and pink, and their secondary colors are white and gold.

The team was founded in 2018 by English businessman David Beckham and American businessman Jorge Mas. Beckham had the option to create an MLS expansion team as part of his contract when he joined the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007. He exercised that option in 2014, and Mas was brought on as a partner in 2017. The club's name and colors were unveiled on January 29, 2018.

The team's first head coach was Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, who was hired in 2019. Pochettino was fired in 2020 and replaced by Diego Alonso.

In their inaugural season, Inter Miami finished seventh in the Eastern Conference with a record of 9–13–3. They failed to make the playoffs.

In 2021, the team made their debut in the CONCACAF Champions League, where they reached the quarter-finals before being eliminated by Mexican club Tigres UANL.

Inter Miami's primary rivals are Orlando City SC, who are also located in Florida. The two teams have competed in the Sunshine Clasico since Orlando City's inaugural MLS season in 2015.

The club has a number of notable players, including Blaise Matuidi, Gonzalo Higuaín, Lewis Morgan, and Rodolfo Pizarro.

The team's ownership group also includes Miami Marlins owner Derek Jeter and businessman Masayoshi Son.
